How to play Wordle
- Type any real 5-letter word and press Enter.
- A green tile with a check mark means the letter is in the word and in the right spot.
- A gold tile with a dot means the letter is in the word but in a different spot.
- A gray tile means the letter is not in the word.
- You have 6 guesses. If you run out, the answer is shown and read aloud. Press Play again or New word for another puzzle.
Unlimited Wordle with no ads
Many free word games are covered in pop-up ads. This one has none. There are no ads, no pop-ups, no accounts, and no daily limit, so students can play as many rounds as they like at school or at home.
Three levels of words
- Starter: familiar everyday words.
- Middle School: school vocabulary and less common words.
- Challenge: harder words for strong spellers.
There are about 2,000 answer words, all chosen for students: no sight words, plurals, names, or grown-up words. Each device remembers the words it has already had, so puzzles rarely repeat.
